Sri Lanka has something to offer everyone. On the adventure side of eco-tourism, it has the potential to become one of the great adventure destinations in the world. A rocky, mountainous core rises in three steps from the center of the island. Sheer rock faces abound in an island dissected with ridges and mountain ranges. No less than 103 rivers cascade down to the Indian Ocean.
It is probably in trekking that Sri Lanka has the potential to stake a claim as a premier soft-adventure destination. Being a relatively compact island, it is not too difficult to design a trekking circuit that will run from the cool highlands to the humid, lowland rain-forests, or the parched-dry lowlands. The mountainous core and seasonal monsoons work to produce markedly different climatic zones in a relatively small area. The trekker can experience, mountain with Panoramic view, pine eucalyptus and rain natural forests, the grasslands, and tea plantations, paddy fields and scrub jungles, the village life, Flora & Fauna and wild life, all in the space of a week.

You will be amazed with the discovery of Eco-Tourism or Ecological awareness that has been in existence for hundreds of years in this isle. Nature has always been an essential part of the Sri Lankan life style. It is a matter of respect whether it's tree or water. Even before the digging of a well for water, religious rites are performed and the well remains a sacred part of life. It is here that people even talk to snakes and ask them move out of their way, since you need snakes to balance the eco-system and villagers have learned to make use of this system without exploiting it. Sri Lanka is also famous for its temples and of-course, tea

If you feel like getting in tune with nature, try nature's gift to the world 'The isle of Sri Lanka'. With Sri Lanka trekking nature holidays this spiritual and serene country is sure to impress, leaving you wishing you could stay forever.

In Sri Lanka, spiritual healing tradition is rooted. The healers of this culture are born in healers families from generation to generation as the knowledge is passed on and it has a very different quality than in the west. In the west you have Reiki, spiritual healing, kinesiology, anthropology, Channeling, rune magic, Tantra, Tai Chi, Feng Shui, Qui Gong, etc. Homeopathies began only in the last 200 years back in the west. In European culture, the roots of alternative healing methods have been pruned. In Sri Lanka, they have existed freely. These healers do not doubt your doing and have a power and charisma that exists in our culture that does not exist anywhere else in the world. As a result you can be presented here with what is missing in most parts of the world. The people are no better or worse than in the west. You have only internal constitutions and heart qualities to which it is very rare and difficult to find. That is why the visit to a healer in this country is actually the greatest gift, when you visit Sri Lanka.
